Current contribution areas
Beyond running our own node, Proofline focuses on operator-facing contributions that improve deployment quality and reduce avoidable failure modes for Monad participants.
Operational documentation
We maintain practical notes covering server preparation, installation, storage layout, monitoring setup, backup handling, and post-launch verification for a Monad node.
Monitoring and reliability tooling
Our Monad environment uses Prometheus, Grafana, custom health checks, and local alert rules that monitor service health, RPC responsiveness, telemetry, listener state, TrieDB integrity, and disk pressure.
Recovery and migration readiness
We are building repeatable procedures for node recovery, snapshot-based rebuilds, and safe server-to-server migration planning. The objective is to minimize ambiguity and ensure that cutovers are validated rather than improvised.
Decentralization-aware deployment
We track validator concentration and hosting clustering when evaluating infrastructure choices. The goal is to help the network diversify geographically and operationally, not simply to copy the most crowded locations.
Planned public artifacts
- Step-by-step Monad node migration and recovery runbook
- Monitoring and alerting starter pack using Prometheus and Grafana
- Practical notes on stable bare-metal node operations and incident handling
- Structured hosting and decentralization guidance for healthier deployment choices
