Monad operations

Everything Prooflines has built for Monad: off-node measurement of the network itself, published as live pages, machine-readable feeds and open-source code.

We ran a Monad testnet full node from April to July 2026; the measurement stack now runs off-node, from the discovery protocol and public RPC, with no privileged access. Everything below is recomputed on a schedule and can be checked against its own sources. Unofficial community work, not affiliated with Monad Foundation.

Live surfaces

Pages that recompute themselves. Each one states its own method and refresh interval.

Open source

Monad Sonar

Reads the validator peer set by speaking the discovery protocol directly, with no node required. Publishes continuously updated testnet and mainnet peer feeds.

Telemetry

Monad Sentinel

Network-wide health surface: RPC status, peer discovery, latency and an explainable score, refreshed every 30 seconds and consumable without running a node.

Intelligence

VDP Tracker

The Validator Delegation Program read from on-chain data: registrations, Foundation funding, approvals, active-set rotation and operator concentration.

Geo-Latency Map

Where the validator set actually lives: continent, country, operator and ASN stake concentration, with stake-weighted ICMP round-trip latency from a fixed vantage. Rebuilt every 30 minutes, cross-checked daily against the Foundation's own validator data.

Observed Infra Feed

Cross-checks each validator's declared infrastructure against what is actually observed: provider, ASN, region. Built on the MRC-13 metadata standard, served as CORS JSON.

MOST Leaderboard

Live standings of the Monad Open Source Track pilot: contribution days, merged PRs and open claims across the pool repos, recomputed every 5 minutes from public GitHub data.

Agent identity

ERC-8004 Registry Tracker

Who registers an on-chain agent identity on Monad mainnet, and what happens to it afterwards: registrations over time and the feedback that lands on them.

Agentic payments

x402 Gate and Discovery

A live paid endpoint that sells the network concentration report: an agent pays in native MON over HTTP 402 and the server verifies the payment itself, no facilitator. Next to it, the public discovery index of every x402 resource advertising a Monad rail.

Alerts

MonadBeaconBot

Telegram bot for operators: your node's RPC and sync, plus on-chain validator liveness and VDP alerts. The liveness mode needs no RPC access and survives a closed port.

Notes and guides

Written work, each one from something we actually ran or measured.

Measurement

The trust layer on Monad

x402, ERC-8004 and EAS are all deployed here. How much of that is used, measured by paying nineteen sellers from our own wallet and reconciling every call against the chain.

Measurement

x402 survey

Every resource advertising a Monad rail, probed the way a buying agent would, then paid for. That reconciliation is what finds sellers who take payment and return nothing.

Engineering

x402 without a facilitator

How the native-MON, self-verified scheme works in about 200 lines: no facilitator, no contracts, no SDK, with the trade-offs against the official USDC flow stated plainly.

Engineering

Agent wallet permissions

Lessons from shipping a confirm flow in nad-agent: validation before the prompt, provably versus probably wrong, friction budgets, and why per-step approval and declarative policy are halves of one model.

Operator report

Month one on Monad

A month running the testnet node from Japan, written for operators: what broke, what we did about it, what we got wrong.

Guide

Monitoring and alerting

Prometheus, Grafana, textfile metrics and Telegram alerting, as the pattern we actually run rather than a generic tutorial.

Runbook

Migration and recovery

Conservative server-to-server migration and rebuild checklist for full nodes, with verification steps and identity-safety rules.

Strategy

Hosting and decentralization

Why placement, clustering and geographic spread matter for network health, and how that reads in the concentration numbers we publish.

Summary

Ecosystem contributions

What Prooflines contributes to Monad through operations and open source, kept in one place for anyone checking.

All of it is published for the operator community rather than sold, and every page states how its numbers were produced so they can be recomputed instead of trusted. If something here disagrees with your own measurement, that disagreement is worth more than the page: tell us.
